Ditch the greasy take-away and make this healthier version for yourself at home. It's deliciously comforting and will kill that fast food craving.
Combine Cornflake crumbs, Mitani Chicken Salt, Dried Thyme, Garlic Powder. Paprika and Cumin in a large pyrex dish. In a separate glass dish, pour buttermilk over chicken tenderloins. Allow to marinate for minimum 30 min or overnight.
Preheat oven to 180° C. Line baking tray with baking paper. Dredge marinated chicken tenderloins in beaten egg, then cornflake mix. Place on baking tray and spray with canola oil. Place in oven and bake for approx. 10-15 min on one side, then turn over and cook for further 10 min. Tenderloins will be golden in colour. Remove from oven when cooked and serve immediately with Crunchy Green Beans.
Crunchy Green Beans
In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and add 1 tsp Mitani Chicken Salt. Add green beans and allow to cook 2-3 min. Remove from heat and drain when beans are bright green. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, white wine vinegar, Mitani Chicken Salt and tamari almonds. Garnish with finely sliced shallots.
