Try this delicious recipe, courtesy of our friends at Electrolux.


  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 1 lime

  • 2cm fresh ginger

  • 1 shallot

  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika

  • 1 teaspoon curry powder

  • 1 cup Green yoghurt

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt & pepper


  • 1.

    Peel the garlic, the ginger and the shallot. Juice the lime. Put all the ingredients in the TURBOPRO mini chopper and blend at high speed until you obtain a smooth mixture.

  • 2.

    Marinade on meats such as fish fillets, chicken, lamb or prawn skewers.

  • Tips:

  • 1.

    Add chopped coriander or mint to the marinade. You can also add 2 or 3 Kaffir lime leaves, taking out the central nerve beforehand.

  • Variation:

  • 1.

    Tikka marinade: replace the paprika and the curry with garam masala (1 tablespoon). Add a teaspoon of raw sugar and a teaspoon of tomato paste.
