Quick and easy pizza-flavored dry instant noodles done gourmet style, similar in flavor to Arnott's pizza crackers


  • single block of Korean or Japanese instant ramen noodles, or 40g of linguine

  • big dash of extra virgin olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp concentrated tomato paste

  • 6 tsp nutritional yeast flakes

  • 2 tsp smoked paprika powder

  • 1/3 tsp dried oregano herbs

  • 1 tsp minced garlic or 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp minced onions or 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • pinch of freshly ground black pepper

  • 1/3 tsp salt to taste

  • optional 1 tsp sugar

  • optional organic alfafa sprouts or pea sprouts

  • optional thinly-sliced green capsicum

  • optional sliced cooked/canned mushrooms

  • optional sliced roma tomatoes, excess liquid absorbed with kitchen towel


  • 1.

    Cook instant noodles or linguine in a pot until just firm or al dente

  • 2.

    While noodles are cooking, saute the optional thinly- sliced capsicum, mushrooms and tomatoes in olive oil with 1/3 tsp of oregano herbs, 1 tsp of minced garlic, 1 tsp of minced onion and a pinch of salt and pepper and cook until well done

  • 3.

    Drain cooked noodles well

  • 4.

    With noodles still in pot, add olive oil, tomato paste, garlic, onion, smoked paprika, nutritional yeast flakes, salt, optional sugar

  • 5.

    Mix seasoning well with noodles until new color is uniform

  • 6.

    Add in optional sprouts and toss noodles to dampen and entangle with sprouts

  • 7.

    Transfer noodles to a large plate

  • 8.

    Sprinkle additional smoked paprika and nutritional yeast flakes on top of noodles

  • 9.

    Place the optional sauteed vegetables on top of noodles to serve
