To celebrate Wine and Food Month this June 2013 in the Hunter Valley, NSW, Cracked Pepper Restaurant has put together an amazing recipe for almond cookies (gluten free) for Petite Fours that you can make at home OR come and try during the Wine and Food Month festivities which commence on June 1, 2013!
Combine all the dry ingredients & mix well. Beat in the butter & egg then roll the dough into little sausages. This amount of dough will make plenty & can be frozen for later use if required.
Chill & slice what is needed into rounds. Place on a greased baking tray & bake in a preheated 165 degree oven for approx. 15mins.
Cool biscuits on a rack & store unused ones in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
