Bun appétit! No Easter would be complete without freshly baked hot cross buns. Westfield shares the centre’s recipe for making a meal out of this classic Easter staple. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk and vanilla.
Heat butter in a large frying pan on medium. Dip hot cross buns into egg mixture, turning to coat.
Cook buns in 2 batches for 2-3 minutes each side until golden.
Serve with banana and strawberries. Drizzle with maple syrup.
If preferred, use fruit bread or brioche in place of hot cross buns.
