Chocolate Bar With Macadamia Nuts And Candied Ginger

  • bittersweet Chocolate

  • Macadamia or toasted hazelnuts

  • candied Ginger chopped


  • 1.

    Melt the chocolate over a bain-marie.

  • 2.

    Stir in the nuts and ginger.

  • 3.

    Pour into a pan lined with greased waxed paper, and let harden in the refrigerator.

  • 4.

    Serve the whole stretch of pavement on a board and let guests hack away at leisure.

    Melt chocolate and make little disks on a sheet of parchment.

  • 2.

    Top each with nuts and dried and/or candied fruit.

  • 3.

    Hazelnuts, raisins and candied orange are a nice combination.


  • 1.

    Gently melt chocolate in a bain marie (bittersweet, milk, and white chocolate are all fine).

  • 2.

    Dip in fruits of your choice, such as dates, strawberries, candied orange peel into the melted chocolate.

  • 3.

    Set on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  • 4.

    Allow to set in the refrigerator.
