These juicy Lamb Skewers are delicious to cook up on the BBQ, combined with the Yoghurt Dipping Sauce there bound to wow your friends.


  • 800g lamb fillets, cut into cubes

  • 1 lemon, juiced

  • 2 tbsp of olive oil

  • 1-2 tsp of salt

  • Dipping sauce ingredients

  • 200g low fat yoghurt

  • 2 tsp of sumac

  • 1 tsp of chilli powder

  • 1 tsp of dried mint

  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

  • 1 tsp of salt


  • 1.

    In a mixing bowl mix together the lamb ingredients and leave to marinate for 30-60 minutes.

  • 2.

    In another bowl mix together all the dipping sauce ingredients and cover with plastic until ready to use.

  • 3.

    Pre-heat the BBQ. Thread the lamb onto the skewers approx. 6-8 piece per skewer. Place on the BBQ for approx. 3-5 minutes each side.

  • 4.

    Serve with the dipping sauce and a green salad.
