Bangers & Mash

Former professional athlete and model Kris Smith prepares a simple yet tasty main dish with a twist, as seen on Celebrity Come Dine With Me Australia


  • 4 sweet potatoes

  • 2 Tablespoons of Dijonaise

  • 8 prime pork sausages

  • 2 tins of mushy peas

  • 4-5 mint leaves coriander

  • 1 poached egg


  • 1.

    Peel and boil diced sweet potato in a large pan.

  • 2.

    At the same time slow fry the sausages in a frying pan.

  • 3.

    When potatoes are ready drain off water, mash and add Dijonaise.

  • 4.

    Heat up the peas while slowly adding coriander and finely chopped mint leaves.

  • 5.

    Poach the egg and mix in with mushy peas before serving

  • 6.

    Cooking time 40-45 minutes
