GREEK STUFFED TOMATO'S

A VERY INEXPENSIVE MEAL WITH LOTS OF FLAVOR AND LITTLE FAT CONTENT.

Ingredients

  • GREEK STUFFED TOMATO'S

  • There a lot of ways that you can make this but i find it to rich, so i make a more simple version for home.

  • 600 grams beef mince

  • 2 eg

  • gs

  • 1 cup chopped parsley

  • 1 cup bread crumbs

  • 1 large onion finley chopped

  • 9 large ripe tomato's

  • 1 cup par cooked rice

  • 1 teaspoon dill

  • Salt to taste

  • I like lots of cracked pepper

  • Parmisen cheese

  • Olive oil

  • This is a very cheap meal and you will realy like it.

  • Its also a very healthy meal with very low fat content.

    METHOD

    Cut top out of all tomato's scoop out centre and keep aside

  • 3.

    Put 1 cup of the tomato pulp in a large bowl and mix well with all other ingredients

  • 4.

    Fill tomatos the the top and then sprinkle parmisen cheese on top

  • 5.

    Place is oven proof dish on a rock salt bed to keep them from rolling over

  • 6.

    Drizzel a little olive oil over each one to keep moist while cooking

  • 7.

    Cook at 180 deg for about 40 minutes

Notes

Serve with creamy mash potato and fresh green beans and a little lemon juice over the beans
