LifeStyle FOOD's resident baker Effie shares with us these delicious treats just in time for Halloween!


  • 400g chocolate (milk, dark or white)

  • 2 ¾ cups mini marshamallows

  • 2/3 cup dessicated coconut

  • 1/4 cup pistachio kernels, chopped roughly

  • 1/4 cup pecan nuts, chopped roughly

  • 1/4 cup hazelnuts, chopped roughly

  • 2/3 cup dried berries, chopped if required


  • 1.

    Line 30cmx 20cm rectangular tray with foil or baking paper, ensuring there is overhang on all sides

  • 2.

    Melt chocolate over a double boiler. Set aside to cool.

  • 3.

    Combine marshmallows, coconut, pistachios, pecans, hazelnuts, berries in a large bowl

  • 4.

    Pour chocolate dry ingredients and mix well.

  • 5.

    Spoon mixture into tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Remove from tray and cut into squares.
