This is a really old recipe and the original dates back to World War I. I have tweeked it a little to make it more interesting.
Place all the ingredients in a large bowl and knead together for 5 minutes. Break off into small pieces form into balls and then press flat with the back of fork. Bake in a moderate oven about 180 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
