Place dried cannellini beans into the Fast Slow Cooker’s cooking bowl and cover with hot water. Select the pressure cook setting and cook for 30 minutes on a medium pressure.
Once timer is “0” and 5 beeps sound, release pressure. Open lid and drain off liquid. Set aside.
Selecting the sauté/sear setting, add oil, bacon, onion and garlic and cook for 5 minutes. Stir in carrots and celery and continue cooking for a further 4 minutes. Add tomato paste and cook for 1 minute, before stirring in canned tomatoes, chicken stock, beans and pasta.
Pressure cook ingredients on a low pressure for 20 minutes.
Once timer is “0” and 5 beeps sound, release pressure. Open lid and season with salt and pepper.
Ladle soup into large serving bowls and drizzle over a generous dollop of pesto and scatter over basil.
