This pumpkin soup recipe is the ultimate winter warmer.

Ingredients

  • 700g pumpkin

  • 100g potatoes

  • 60g onions

  • 500ml reduced salt butter

  • Small pinch of nutmeg

  • Fresh cream to serve (optional)

Method

  • 1.

    Cut the pumpkin and potatoes into pieces. Peel and chop the onions

  • 2.

    Fill the soup and co bowl with the vegetables

  • 3.

    Add stock, butter and seasoning

  • 4.

    Lock the lid fitted with the measuring cup

  • 5.

    Place the bowl on the motor unit

  • 6.

    Select program P2 by pressing the P Key

  • 7.

    Confirm the selected programme with the OK key

  • 8.

    When the soup is cooked, the appliance beeps three times

  • 9.

    Unlock the bowl and serve immediately or leave the bowl in and place in Keep Warm mode

  • 10.

    Serve hot with a touch of fresh cream
