In need of a veggie boost? Recuperate with this hearty soup recipe.


  • 150g carrots

  • 150g parsnips

  • 150g Jerusalem artichokes

  • 150g celeriac

  • 100g white of leek

  • 20g celery

  • ½ low sodium vegetable stock cube


  • 1.

    Peel the carrots, parsnips, Jerusalem artichokes and celeriac, then cut them into cubes

  • 2.

    Wash the white of leek and cut them into rounds. Wash the celery and cut it in two

  • 3.

    Place the vegetable stock cube, cube of carrot, celeriac, parsnip and Jerusalem artichoke, celery, leek and 850ml water into the Soup and Co.

  • 4.

    Press the P button to select programme P1. Confirm the programme by pressing the OK button.

  • 5.

    Leave to cook for 25 minutes. When the soup is ready, the appliance beeps three times.

  • 6.

    Serve hot with a homemade bread roll.
