Beef Scallopine with Mushrooms

This quick and easy beef recipe can be whipped up in no time - great for weekday dinners.


  • 2 tbsp plain flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

  • 500g beef or veal minute steaks

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 red onion, peeled and thickly sliced

  • 200g mushrooms, sliced

  • 200ml cream

  • 1 x 8g McCormick® Recipe Creations™ Beef Scallopine with Mushrooms

  • McCormick® Recipe Creations™ Beef Scallopine with Mushrooms Pack Includes:

  • 1 tsp McCormick® Paprika

  • 1 tsp McCormick® Garlic Granules

  • 1 tsp McCormick® Sage leaves

  • 1/2 tsp McCormick® Rosemary leaves

  • 1 tsp McCormick® Thyme leaves

  • 1 tsp McCormick® Oregano leaves


  • 1.

    Combine flour, Paprika, salt and pepper in a bowl. Add beef and coat in seasoned flour and set aside.

  • 2.

    Heat oil in a large frying pan on medium – high heat and brown beef for 1 minute each side. Remove from pan and set aside.

  • 3.

    Add red onion and mushrooms to pan and cook 3-4 minutes. Add 1/4 cup water, Garlic, remaining herbs, cream and stir gently.

  • 4.

    Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes or until sauce thickens.

  • 5.

    Return beef to the pan and warm through with the sauce.

  • 6.

    Serve with boiled baby potatoes and steamed beans.
