Try this cooling yoghurt, cucumber and mint sauce from epiosde 6 of World Kitchen.


  • ½ cup yoghurt – plain, unsweetened

  • 1 cup grated cucumber (no need to peel it)

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 2 cloves (or to taste) garlic, grated

  • 1 Tb chopped fresh mint or dill

  • 1 Tb extra virgin olive oil


  • 1.

    Squeeze excess liquid from grated cucumber (between your palms or using a tea-towel). In a bowl mix the drained cucumber with the remaining ingredients. Taste and adjust seasonings as required.
