These pasties are perfect for family mealtimes, or save them for tomorrow’s lunchbox!

Ingredients

  • 1 large can tuna in olive oil, drained a little

  • ½ cup olive tapenade

  • 1 chorizo, diced

  • 1 French shallot, finely chopped

  • ¼ bunch of parsley, finely chopped

  • 2 sheets of puff pastry, cut into 4 circles

  • 1 egg lightly beaten with some water

Method

  • 1.

    Pre heat the oven to 190 C.

  • 2.

    In a large bowl mix the tuna, olive tapenade, chorizo, shallots and parsley.

  • 3.

    Place a heaped tablespoon of the tuna mixture in the centre of the pastry circle. Lift both ends of the circle and crimp the pastry together to form a half moon. Brush with some egg wash and place on a greased baking tray. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
