Rum and Raisin Ice Cream

Impress your friends and family with this homemade ice cream recipe.


  • ½ cup raisins

  • ½ cup rum

  • ½ cup macadamias

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream


  • 1.

    Add raisins and rum to a saucepan and cook for 5 minutes. Then take off the heat and allow to marinate for around 2 hours.

  • 2.

    Crush macadamias in a mortar and pestle and then transfer to another bowl. Add the raisin and rum mix and vanilla ice cream to the macadamias. Combine ingredients.

  • 3.

    Chill in freezer for 2 hours and its ready to serve.
