This healthy side dish recipe by Justine Schofield is the perfect main course accompaniment.


  • 1 tbs sesame oil

  • 450 g mixed green vegetables (spring onions, celery, sugar snap peas, broccolini, bok choy)

  • 1 garlic clove

  • 2 tbs soy sauce

  • 1 tbs sesame seeds


  • 1.

    Heat the oil in a wok and add sesame seeds. Cook for 30 seconds until golden. Add the spring onions and celery, then the garlic. Add the rest of the greens and stir-fry for 5 minutes.

  • 2.

    Add the soy sauce, bring to the boil, bubble to reduce slightly. Transfer to a dish and serve.
