This recipe is great if you are watching your weight and very refreshing in summer or winter


  • 2 cups of green Lentils

  • 1 bunch silverbeet

  • 1 sweet potato

  • 1 Zuchini

  • 2 carrots

  • 1 Tablespoon Tomato Paste

  • 2 Tablespoon Olive oil

  • 1 heaped tablespoon curry powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • 1.

    In a large pot add lentils and bring to boil

  • 2.

    Add paste olive Oil Salt and Pepper

  • 3.

    Wash and cut Silverbeet Sweet potato Zuchini carrots into small pieces or cubes

  • 4.

    Add curry powder

  • 5.

    Simmer for 1 hour until all the vegetables are cooked
