Pump some energy into your muscles with this simple recipe.


  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

  • 1 tsp sunflower seeds

  • 1 tsp pumpkin seeds

  • 8 almonds

  • 1 tsp barley grass powder

  • 1 cup milk – use goat/oat/rice/almond etc

  • 2 tsp whey protein powder (at least 80% protein)

  • 1 tsp wheat germ

  • 1 tsp brewers yeast

  • 1 banana

  • ½ cup berries


  • 1.

    First blend all seeds and almonds until they become a powder, add 1 tsp barley grass powder.

  • 2.

    Blend all ingredients together.

I tried this recipe today - I absolutely love it.

It is a bit time consuming and takes a bit of time hunting in the supermarket for ingredients but it is well worth it.

I combined this drink with a turkey wrap for lunch and did not experience my usual afternoon low.
