Grilled Tofu with Quinoa and Vegetables

Try grilled tofu for a healthy lunch or dinner meal.


  • 100g firm tofu or tempeh

  • ½ cup quinoa

  • 1 ½ cup water

  • Snow peas – top and tailed

  • Carrots – sliced into strips

  • Green beans – top and tailed

  • Broccoli – cut into small segments

  • 50ml Tamari

  • Parsley – chopped


  • 1.

    Slice tofu lengthways into slices and allow to soak in tamari for 5 – 10 minutes.

  • 2.

    Place under grill and cook for 5 minutes, turn and cook for another 5 minutes.

  • 3.

    In a pot place quinoa and water and bring to a simmer and gently cook for 8 minutes. Strain and mix in parsley.

  • 4.

    Place all other vegetables in a steamer and cook for 3 minutes. If there is no access to a steamed simply simmer in water for 2 minutes.

  • 5.

    Place quinoa on a plate, lay tofu on the top and lastly vegetables on the side.
