Toasted Muesli

This recipe is from episode 20 of Good Chef Bad Chef series 3.


  • 4 cups organic raw oats

  • 1 cup chopped or slithered almonds

  • 1 cup sesame seeds

  • 1 cup sunflower seeds

  • 1 cup pepitas

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon powder

  • ½ cup spelt flour (or besan)

  • ½ cup omega spread or sunflower oil

  • ½ cup agave, honey or maple syrup, or to taste

  • 1 cup sultanas, sulphur-free


  • 1.

    Mix all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.

  • 2.

    Combine the sweetener and omega spread or oil then using your hands, rub this mixture through the dry ingredients.

  • 3.

    Keep it a little chunky.

  • 4.

    Now spread the mixture on a baking tray and bake at 180C until brown and crispy (approx. 20 min).

  • 5.

    Allow to cool.

  • 6.

    Mix through the sultanas and store in an airtight container.

This is the best Breakfast as it is so yummie and I eat it 4 day's a week an skeeps you full till Lunch time.
I give it 10 out 10.
