This recipe is from Episode 10 of Good Chef Bad Chef Series 3


  • 4 pork chops (350g each)

  • Rub:

  • 4 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp caraway seed

  • 1 tbsp ginger powder

  • 1 tbsp dried chilli flakes

  • 1 tbsp ground black pepper

  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar


  • 1.

    Mix the rub ingredients together.

  • 2.

    Rub onto the pork chops and marinade for at least an hour.

  • 3.

    Grill on a high heat for 1 min. Then cook in oven at 200C for approx. 10 min.

  • 4.

    Squeeze lemon on top.

yes the orange juice and orange zest is missing from the marinade

The recipe that appeared on the tv show had orange juice in the marinade.
