Scones

Plain and / orFruit Scones

Ingredients

  • 98 / 100 Grams Self-Raising Flour

  • teaspoon sugar

  • 300 mls of milk

  • 30 grms or 1 heaped Table Spoon Butter

  • If adding cheese or fruit I would use a handfull or two to this mix

  • Pre-Heat Oven to 250c

  • Method:

  • (1). Sift the flour (2). Rub in the butter,add sugar(3). Pour in all the milk

  • at once, and stir a little until all dry flour is absorbed. (I use a knife)

  • to mix it up.(4). Turn-out quickly onto a floured board, and knead lightly.

  • (5). Rollout to half an inch thick , i use a glass then to cut out the scone

  • shapes. (6). Then place on a floured oven sheet , and bake for aprox (13 mins)
