fresh prawns, green salad , with a creamy cocktail sauce my partner and i decided to play wit this traditional recipe abit and changed a few things about it and we invented our own style of cocktail sauce and you can have this as a starter or a main ... for the main just add more ingreadiants
First step is to clean and de-vain the prawns
Cook in large pan with olive o,il garliic (crushed), parsly, salt and pepper till cooked
Drain on paper and let cool
Next make the salad,
Wash lettuce and then shake dry
Break up and place in large salad bowl
Slice red onion thingly and toss in to the lettuce
Add the pineapple peices to the salad and chop and deseed the chillie and thinly cut it and add it to the salad add cruton and toss the salad set in fridge to chill...
lastly prepare the cocktail sauce.
Combile the sour cream with tomatopast till smooth and creamey the add tobasco sauce lemon and lime stri till combine add salt and pepper to taste
Too make up toss most of the prawns in to the salad then drizzle over the cocktail sauce toss all through salad prep plates and serve with garnish...
rember not to cook the prawns to long as they will ova cook and be tough
and if you doing like tabasco or sour cream you can use worcestershire sauce and mayonaise .... and for a little more crunch try and use fresh crust bread diced into little cubes and seasioned with parsley and salt ane pepper cooked in a little olive oil till really crunchey make it taste so much better .....
