Parmesan Shrimp Pesto

Ingredients

  • 200 grams unsalted butter

  • 1 - teaspoon salt

  • 1 - teaspoon pepper

  • half kilo of shrimp ( remove shell and head )

  • 5 cloves garlic (finely chopped)

  • 1 medium size onion

  • fresh cilantro (finely chopped)

  • 2 stem of fresh celery (finely chopped)

  • 3 (tetra pack) all purpose cream

  • half kilo spaghetti noodle fresh parsley for presentation

  • vegetable oil

  • grated parmesan cheese

Method

  • 1.

    Cook spaghetti noodle into boiling water with 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil till aldente

  • 2.

    Saute shrimp with 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil, 200 grams unsalted butter, garlic and onion, pinch of salt, pinch of pepper for 3 minutes.

  • 3.

    Remove shrimp only and separate.

  • 4.

    Then add celery and cilantro into the pan and stir for 1minute.

  • 5.

    Then all purpose cream and stir till thick

  • 6.

    then add salt and pepper on the sauce to suit your taste.

  • 7.

    Place spaghetti noodle on a plate

  • 8.

    Add pesto sauce on top of the noodle

  • 9.

    Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top of the sauce

  • 10.

    Add shrimp on top of the sauce with parmesan cheese

  • 11.

    Add parsley to garnish the presentation
