Pasta Vegetable Salad

Ingredients

  • 500 grms penne pasta

  • 500 ml all-purpose cream

  • 2 carrots (cut into cubes)

  • 1 cucumber (cut into cubes)

  • 1 medium size apple (cut into cubes)

  • 1 medium red tomato (cut into cubes)

  • dried basil

  • 1/2 tspn salt

  • 1/2 tspn ground pepper

  • 1 cup grated cheese

  • 1 onion (finely chopped)

  • 1 tbsp canola oil

Method

  • 1.

    Cook the pasta according to packet directions.

  • 2.

    In a sauce pan put canola oil. Saute onion. mix carrots, cucumber,tomato and apple, salt, ground pepper,dried basil, all-purpose cream. and grated cheese.

  • 3.

    Wait for 3mins to cook. and add the penne pasta. mix well.
