  • 4 heads butter lettuce

  • 5 stalks celery, chopped

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1 cup tomato juice

  • ½ cup red wine vinegar

  • 1 tsp Worcestershire

  • 1 tbsp horseradish

  • 4 drops tobasco sauce

  • 1 tbsp vodka

  • ½ cup olive oil

  • sea salt & pepper to taste


  • 1.

    Arrange the lettuce leaves on a large plate.

  • 2.

    Top with the celery and tomatoes.

  • 3.

    In a large bowl combine the tomato juice, vinegar, Worcestershire, horseradish, Tobasco and vodka.

  • 4.

    Slowly whisk the olive oil into the dressing to emulsify the fat.

  • 5.

    Season with salt and pepper.

  • 6.

    Dress the salad just before serving.
