I love mushrooms any time of the day, done in a creamy, peppery sauce they're sublime. I made these to go with crepes but they would be fantastic on toast for brekky.
Crepes: Mix all ingredients in a small jug and set aside while you do the mushrooms.
Mushrooms: Heat butter in a pan over med/high heat.
When bubbling, add mushrooms and fry for a few minutes til they soften and have a bit of colour.
Add garlic and saute another 30 seconds stirring every so often.
Add Worcestershire sauce, mustard, thyme and sherry and saute for another 30 seconds.
Add Sour cream and keep stirring over the heat for about a minute til sauce bubbles and thickens slightly.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cook the crepes in a hot pan and serve with the mushrooms.
