It is recipe from Rajasthan, India. It is mainly eaten with rice.


  • Yoghurt:200gms

  • Mustard seeds:1tsp

  • Cumin seeds:1tbsp

  • Fenugreek leaves:2tsp;chopped

  • Bengal Gram flour:50gms

  • Bay leaves:7 to 8

  • Dried Red chillies:3

  • Red chilli powder:1tbsp

  • Tumeric powder:1/2 tsp

  • Corriander powder:1 tsp

  • Corriander leaves:2tbsp;chopped

  • vegetable oil:2tbsp

  • Water:500ml

  • Sait: to taste

    Beat the yoghurt with gram flour and keep aside. Heat oil in pan and add mustard seeds;cumin seeds; bay leaves,and red chillies. Then add tumeric powder;red chilli powder; corriander powder salt and water. Mix the ingedients for about 2 minutes and then add the yoghurt and gram flour mixture,cook for a few minutes. Remove from heat when it gets thicker.Garnish with corriander leaves.
