Mince beef with vegetables


  • 500g mince beef,2 carrots 3 sticks celery, 1 onion, 2-3 cloves garlic, salt & pepper, packet chicken noodle soup,1 tablespoon bbq sauce, 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce,half cup red wine. olive oil,

    Heat oil in pan, finely slice onion & garlic add to pan sprinkle with salt and cook stir until onion is transparent, remove from pan. Put mince steak into pan add salt and pepper and cook until brown, then add your onion & garlic, grated carrot, celery, chicken noodle soup and water (follow instructions on packet) add red wine and cook until all liquid has reduced down

This was lovely. I would probably decrease the red wine to 1/4 cup, and add a Massel beef stock cube, but that's only because I'm not fond of the flavor of red wine! It reduced beautifully, and was delicious with lots of mash! A winner!
