Enjoy this deliciously sweet dessert using stewed apples topped with a lovely buttery crumble and served with ice-cream or custard.
Heat the apples, pears, butter, sugar and orange zest and juice until tender but not too soft
Mix together the flour, oats, butter and sugar to make the crumble topping
Put the apples into a dish that can go into the oven, top with the crumble mixture and bake for around 25 – 30 minutes at 180C/160 Fan
Serve with custard, cream or vanilla ice-cream
