Douple Choc Pancakes

These are an endulgent treat that is very more-ish and will be a favourite with kids, friends, and family.


  • 100g of milk choc chips

  • 1 cup of good cocoa

  • 1 cup of self-raising flour

  • 1/2 cup of caster sugar

  • 250g of dark melted chocolate

  • 100 ml of whipped cream

  • butter for cooking

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup of milk


  • 1.

    Heat a frying pan and melt the butter.

  • 2.

    In a bowl sift the flour,sugar, and cocoa and using an electric hand mixer beat in the eggs,milk and halve of the melted chocolate. Using a wooden spoon stir in the choc chips.

  • 3.

    Pour a little of the batter into the heated frying pan and flip when the top-side is coverd in bubbles. Cook for about 1 min or until if toched lightly it springs back. repeat until mixtur eis used up

  • 4.

    Serve on a plate with the cream and the rest of the melted chocolate.


using quality chocolate will give it a great taste. Also to add some bounce to the pancakes you can add 1/2 cup of full fat milk powder.
