Munch on these sweet crunchy chocolate meringues that are light as a feather.


  • Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup caster sugar

  • 2 egg whites

  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

  • 1 tablespoon vinegar( or lemon juice)

  • 1 tablespoon cornflour

  • 1/2 cup chocolate pieces, melted


  • 1.

    Beat whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar while beating until stiff and glossy. Beat cocoa, cornflour and vinegar. Spoon or pipe onto a baking paper lined tray. Bake at 120 degrees or 100 degrees fan forced for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours or until dry. Drizzle chocolate over top or dip in chocolate.
