  • 125g butter or margarine

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 2 tablespoons golden syrup

  • 1 egg, lightly beaten

  • 1 1/4 cup self raising flour

  • 2 tablespoons ground ginger

Method

  • 1.

    Melt butter and golden syrup together in a saucepan on medium heat, add sugar and egg, stir until sugar is dissolved. Add flour and ginger, mix until combined or until dough like. Roll mixture onto a lightly floured board and cut with cookie cutters. Then put onto a prepared baking tray. Bake in a oven at 160 degrees for 10-12mins.
