The Kids love it :) it's so easy , this is one of the first recipes I ever cooked and i'm still cooking it today.


  • 2 Cups milk

  • 4 eggs

  • 1/2 cup plain flour

  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper

  • 200 grms diced bacon

  • 2 cups frozen vegetable mix (carrot,corn and peas)

  • 1 1/2 cups grated tasty cheese


  • 1.

    Preheat oven to 200oC. Lightly spray with olive oil cooking spray a large baking dish (30cm X 20cm X 6cm deep).

    In a large mixing bowl, add flour. Slowly add milk (1/4 cup at a time) whisking constantly with a balloon whisk, ensuring flour combines with no lumps. Once all the milk is added, add eggs, one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Add pepper, bacon, mixed vegetables and 1 cup of cheese. Mix well to combine. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish.

  • 3.

    Bake in hot oven (200oC) for 40 minutes, remove from oven and scatter remaining cheese over the top, place back into the oven for another 20 minutes. Quiche is ready when golden brown on top and centre is firm. Allow 5 minutes to cool before cutting.
