Try Kyoko's Edamame starter from week 2 of COME DINE WITH ME AUSTRALIA series 2.


  • 1 packet frozen Soya Beans (bought from Asian Supermarket)

  • 1 packet Surume (bought from Asian Supermarket)

  • 1 container of Japanese Mayonnaise (bought from Asian Supermarket)

  • Avocado Dip

  • 1 avocado

  • 3 tbsp sour cream

  • .5 chopped onions

  • dash chilli oil

  • dash soy sauce

  • dash lemon juice


  • Edamame:

  • 1.

    Put frozen Edamame in salted boiled water until floating.

  • 2.

    Drain and serve.

  • Avocado Dip:

  • 1.

    Spoon out Avocado into a bowl and mash with a fork.

  • 2.

    Add sour cream, onion, chilli oil, soy sauce & lemon juice and mix well.
