Prime rib-eye with garlic and seeded mustard butter

Try Jesse's main course from week 2 of COME DINE WITH ME AUSTRALIA series 2.


  • 5 prime rib-eye steaks on the bone

  • 20 baby potatoes

  • 30 snow peas

  • 6 small corn cobs

  • 20 baby carrots

  • Extra virgin olive oil

  • Cracked pepper

  • Sea salt

  • Seeded mustard

  • Butter


  • 1.

    Pre heat oven to 180C.

  • 2.

    Cut the potatoes in half and cook in the oven with olive oil for approximately 1hour with fresh rosemary and slithers of garlic.

  • 3.

    Coat meat with olive oil and season with sea salt and cracked pepper.

  • 4.

    Cook steaks evenly on either side on BBQ, turning only once to your liking.

  • 5.

    Serve steaks with a mixture of wholegrain mustard and garlic butter.

  • 6.

    Steam the veggies and add butter to the peas and honey to the carrots.

  • 7.

    Partially cook corn in the microwave on high for 3 minutes.

  • 8.

    Place corn onto the BBQ to brown up, then butter and season with salt and pepper.
