Try these easy to make delectable, crispy Thai flavoured fish cake bites - perfect for a snack or a light meal.


  • 300 gram of white fish fillets

  • 3 green onion, sliced

  • 1/2 tsp of brown sugar

  • 1.5 tsp of coriander powder

  • 1/2 tsp of cumin powder

  • 1 tsp of chili powder

  • 2 tbsp of fish sauce

  • 3 tbsp of Corn flour

  • 1 Egg

  • 4 tbsp of thick coconut milk

  • 1 tsp lime zest (or kaffir lime leaves)

  • Rice bran oil for frying

  • 1/2 tsp of grated ginger


  • 1.

    Put fish fillets in the food processor.

  • 2.

    Once smooth, moved to a large bowl.

  • 3.

    Add the rest of the ingredients, except oil, mix well.

  • 4.

    Heat oil in a pan and spoon 1 tbsp at the time into the frying pan.

  • 5.

    Continue until the mixture finished.

  • 6.

    Ready to serve.

Thanks MissLuckyPiggy - they are delicious! I only had a tin of tuna to work with but they turned out just fine. Much better with fresh fish I bet so next time I'll have another yummy fish cake to try. Thanks again.
