Heilala Vanilla Cup Cakes

An easy cup cake recipe that's great for the kids to bake and then have fun with their icing creations!


  • 150g Butter softened

  • 150g Castor Sugar

  • 175g Self-Raising Flour

  • 3 Eggs

  • 1 Tsp Heilala Vanilla Extract


  • 1.

    Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees C

  • 2.

    Beat eggs lightly with fork in bowl

  • 3.

    Add all other ingredients

  • 4.

    Beat with electric mixer for 2 mins until light and creamy

  • 5.

    Divide mixture between 12 cup cake cases

  • 6.

    Bake for 18-20 mins until risen and firm

  • 7.

    Cool for a few mins and transfer to wire rack

  • 8.

    Allow to fully cool before icing

  • 9.

    Makes 12 cup cakes
