Crusted Fish

This recipe is easy to make and always a favorite with the family


  • Fish fillets x 6

  • Dash Paprika

  • Flour Plain good handful

  • Pepper

  • 1 egg beaten

  • breadcrumbs about 1 cup

  • grated parmesan cheese about 3/4 cup

  • Oil to your choice

  • I use grapeseed or rice oil

  • Lemon Thyme Butter

  • approx 60 gr

  • grated lemon rind

  • lemon juice

  • chopped fresh thyme or lemon thyme

  • Pat your fish dry

  • Comibine the flour and paprika and pepper and dust the fish fillets with that

  • Dip each fillet into the egg, and then coat with the crumbs and cheese

  • I like to put it in the fridge for about 15 min

  • Heat oil and fry fish over medium heat for about 3-4 min until each side is cooked

  • To make lemon thyme butter

  • heat butter and lemon rind and juice and thyme in either microwave or on stove till butter melts serve drizzled over fish.

  • Serve with steamed vegetables in season and sweet potato

  • Bon Appetit
