Kids will love this nutritious amazing treat (adults will love it as well). This recipe evolved from Todd Wilbur’s Kellogg’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Rice Krispies Treats recipe. I made some alterations and it turned out perfect. Hope you enjoy it as well.
Melt butter+ peanut butter+ salt over low heat till all melts.
Add marshmallows+ water+ vanilla. Stir over low heat till marshmallows melts.
Add Rice Krispies and mix well till mixture coats all the cereal.
Spray a 7x9 inch rectangular non-stick baking tray with some oil, or line it with baking paper. Transfer the Rice Krispies mixture and press with metal spoon to spread.
Melt cooking chocolate in hot water bath or in microwave. Pour over Rice Krispies and spread it as thin layer. Chill in the fridge till firm, about ½ hour.
Remove from tray. Slice into squares or bars and serve.
