The recipe is from one of my favourites books; McCall’s Cook Book. I just did an alteration by using roasted Peanuts instead of walnuts, thought it would give an amazing taste with Bananas, and it really did. Hope you like it as well.
Sift flour+ salt+ baking soda+ nutmeg+ cinnamon. Add oatmeal+ roasted peanuts. Set aside.
Using electric mixture (or a wire whisk), beat sugar+ soft butter+ egg+ vanilla till light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
Add mashed bananas and mix till well combined.
Add flour mixture and stir till well combined. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Lightly grease baking tray or line it with baking sheet. Drop batter using rounded spoon or an ice-cream scooper 2 inches apart.
Baked cookies in 410 F (210 C) pre-heated oven for 15 minutes, or till golden. Cool on a wire rack and serve.
