• 1/2 kg minced meat

  • 1 small cup Rice soaked with water for 20-30 minutes

  • 1 1/2 liter water

  • 2-4 Chicken Bouillon Cubes (Maggie) (to taste)

  • 2-3 tablespoons crushed cardamom

  • 2 tablespoons Minced parsley

  • salt to taste and a little of spices


  • 1.

    First, crush half of the amount of rice a little then mix it with meat in food processor to get a coherent and homogeneous paste

  • 2.

    Add salt and cardamom and a little of spices and mix them well

  • 3.

    Formed the meat with rice like balls (medium size)

  • 4.

    Put the water on fire then add the balls to boil

  • 5.

    Then put the Chicken Cubes (Maggie) to taste

  • 6.

    Put the rest of rice and leave it to boil and stay on fire to all components cooked well

  • 7.

    Finally, put the parsley and boil it for 2 minutes

Reem I hope you don't mind, I think the recipe should read soup - not soap! English is a peculiar language - even to us Brits!! xox loving your recipes, have saved a number to make when the weather here gets cooler.

Reem even some high profile Aussies here use the wrong words or tense, have spelling and grammar problems and they grew up with English! An easy mistake to make when translating from one language to another!! Keep those recipes coming, am really looking forward to trying them out soon. Still a bit too hot here, end of summer, but when the cooler weather starts your recipes will certainly be on the menu! :-)
