An old fashioned relish recipe
Chop tomatoes and retain ¾ cup of the juice
Peel and dice onions
Place tomatoes, juice, onions, sugar and vinegar into medium sized saucepan
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered until mixture is thickened
Blend flour and spices together and add to pan
Bring mixture to the boil again, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes
Take off the heat and allow to cool slightly before placing in sterilised jars
Seal when cool
