Yeah yeah I know milkshakes are easy but sometimes the most wholesome and refreshing varieties are simply never thought of. This is a very welcome drink in our home when the mercury rises and you want a healthy pick me up.


  • 3 Cups of Whole Milk

  • 1 Large Ripe Avocado

  • 3 Tbs Sugar

  • A handful of ice is optional but nice


  • 1.

    Peel the avocado and cut in half. Discard the pit.

  • 2.

    Put the Avocado, Milk and sugar into a blender and whizz until thick.

  • 3.

    Add a handful of ice to the blender if you like your shake well-chilled, and blend for another minute.

  • 4.

    Serve immediately
