This hot, mouth-watering chocolate dessert just melts in your mouth. It consists of: chocolate cake layer, chocolate sauce, crunchy biscuits and melted marshmallows on top of it all.
I tried it first time at my friend’s, Suha. It was so yummy but it was too much sweetie, so I made little adjustments and I think it’s perfect like that.
By the way, it takes no time to prepare, and is served immediately out of the oven, so it’s perfect when you need a no-time dessert to prepare.
Cut cake into ½ inch thick slices.
In a square or rectangular 3inch deep baking dish, arrange cake slices to cover bottom, cut side down.
In sauce pan, melt butter, add cocoa powder and mix well till smooth. Break chocolate into pieces and add to the butter mixture and melt over a hot water bath (or in microwave if you want).
Add thick cream to chocolate mixture and mix well to combine. Pour over cake slices.
Sprinkle crushed biscuits on top to cover chocolate layer totally.
Arrange marshmallow pieces over biscuit layer, 1 inch apart.
Bake in a 400F (200C) preheated oven till marshmallows are puffy and golden.
