Peanut Butter Cup CHEESECAKE

This almost tastes exactly like reeses peanut butter cups, oh so good, i have friends mick and bel, that make a similar one and they call it SNICKERS PIE hehehe tastes like that too i guess but i have a thing for peanut butter cups........

Ingredients

  • 200g Chocolate Filled Biscuits

  • 50g butter

  • 3/4 cup cream cheese

  • 2/3 cup icing sugar

  • 2/3 cup peanut butter

  • 1tsp vanilla essesnce

  • 250ml WHIPPED cream

  • 3 tsp unsalted butter

  • 1/4 cup extra cream

  • 50g dark chocolate

  • some honey roasted nuts----

  • bake peanuts and honey together on an oven tray or in a pan BUT be careful not to burn them cause it happens pretty quick....

Method

  • 1.

Process the biscuits and add melted butter, mix and press into a pie dish

  • 2.

Put cream cheese, icing sugar in a bowl and beat together

  • 3.

Add peanut butter and vanilla and beat

  • 4.

Stir in 1/3 of the whipped cream then fold in remaining whipped cream

  • 5.

Pour the mix into the shell and chill for a couple of hours

  • 6.

Melt chocolate and cream together and pour over the chilled cake, sprinkle with the nuts and serve....

  • 7.

Alterntively u can make a caramel sauce and drizzle that too with a chopped chocolate bar...

  • 8.

Up to you really how u want to decorate it......

Notes

my friend adds a chopped snickers on top of the base and then pours the filling on when he makes it... i leave it out i feel its rich enough.

Looks delicious - are 'chocolate filled' biscuits just like a chocolate cookie?
