I use this recipe to make a quick sauce that compliments creamy scrambled eggs with smoky bacon & toasted turkish bread perfectly. I'm sure theres lots of other uses for it too.


  • 100g of char grilled capsicum (jar variety) drained and any seeds removed.

  • 1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon of golden syrup

  • Salt and pepper to taste ( I use 4 turns of each)


  • 1.

    Put all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth. Serve.


To make a dip just add 200g of cream cheese to the relish and blend until combined. Serve with toasted turkish bread.
